Product Manager

Do you have a passion for the latest in Consumer Electronics and know what is trending in the market?

At EET Retail, you will be responsible for developing our brand- and product portfolio and expanding our partnerships with vendors across the European market and our EET sales entities.

You will get a large network and a unique insight into a large number of brands within Consumer Electronics. EET's portfolio includes brands such as Harman Kardon, JBL, Epson, Sharp, Sandberg, eSTUFF, Samsonite, Native Union, JLab, Netatmo, Danfoss, Tado, Samsung and many more.

At our office in Birkerød, you will join a team with equal parts high operational tempo and high spirits.

As part of the EET Group, you will have 170 colleagues in EET's new HQ in Birkerød, and your closest colleagues will be a team of 20 people in EET Retail with a passion for Consumer Electronics and new gadgets.

In close collaboration with two other Product Managers, you will contribute to our joint success and together with the sales team we define and drive the Consumer Electronics strategy in EET Group for the categories Sound & Vision, PC & Mobile Accessories, Smart Home, and more categories will follow.

 

The job?

In EET Retail we drive the vendor relations and developed the channel strategy in close partnership with all stakeholders. It is our responsibility that all our sales entities in the rest of Europe experience a high service level from our team, and you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities within own product groups with both new and existing brands, vendors, and sales channels.

You will be part of a results-oriented organization in an exciting development, where an aggressive growth strategy has been set, which we must execute. Through your area of responsibility and participation in both vendor and customer meetings, you get a broad network and the opportunity to create a unique foundation for strengthening your skills and furthering your career.

 

Your primary tasks:

  • Negotiation of T&C’s with vendors
  • Defining the strategy and developing your product groups
  • Development and optimization your vendor portfolio
  • Identification and evaluation new vendor- and product groups
  • Support Account- and Sales Managers in the countries with product information, prices, etc.
  • Ensure optimal stock profile for your brands in collaboration with Sales & Procurement

 

Our expectations:

As a person, you have strong presence and good communication skills, so you can easily negotiate with vendors and engage in dialogue with our Sales Managers, Account Managers, and other colleagues. In addition, we would like you to:

  • Have experience from a similar role where you have worked with e.g. purchasing or Product / Category Management
  • Have a relevant educational background, e.g. a bachelor's degree in economics, marketing or similar
  • Have above average skills in Power Point and Excel
  • Have good commercial insight and understanding of how products are sold in Retail sales channels
  • Speak and write English at negotiation level
